Press Release:

Fourth Annual Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Conference on July 23, 2022

2022 Gatlinburg, Tennessee

We are extremely excited to be bringing a truly amazing group of experts to Gatlinburg this summer for our fourth annual Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Conference. The speakers this year are scheduled to be Dr. Jeff Meldrum, all three field members of the Travel Channels Expedition Bigfoot (Dr. Mireya Mayor, Russel Acord, and Ronny LeBlanc), Stacy Brown Jr., and David Bakara. Ryan “RPG” Golembeske, will be serving as this year’s Master of Ceremonies.  This group will explore and discuss their research, their experience, and the countless theories surrounding the legendary Bigfoot.

This event will be held once again in the Gatlinburg Convention Center. However, after the first three events sold out ever-larger conference rooms upstairs, this year’s conference has been moved into the 70,000 square foot expo hall for 2022. Half the space will serve as the lecture hall while the other half will be home to “Researcher’s Row” and the vendor/sponsor hall. Here you can meet the speakers and check out exhibitors that will be set up all day with tons of Bigfoot related merchandise.

Doors open at 9 am and the event continues until 6 pm. The conference is open to the public but the purchase of tickets in advance is suggested as we cannot guarantee availability at the door. Tickets are for the full day and allow in and out entry. But, be sure to stay till the end as we will be bringing back the full panel of speakers for an interactive Q&A. The “Encounters!” session will return to give attendees a chance to tell their personal encounter stories. Sign up online if you would like to participate.

Additional events are planned for the weekend that includes a Meet & Greet Dinner on Friday and possibly a couple of other surprises TBA. These events will have limited spots and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Email announcements of these events will be sent to all ticket holders first so be sure to check your emails.

This will be a genuinely fun, unique sanctuary for anything and everything Sasquatch/Bigfoot with a little Skunk Ape thrown in for good measure. Anyone interested in attending can purchase tickets at bit.ly/smokybigfoot. Standard tickets for this event range from $25 to $50. A small number of VIP Package are available that includes the meet and greet dinner, front of the auditorium seating, 2022 Conference T-shirt, a souvenir poster, swag bag, and early admission.

The Gatlinburg Convention Center is located at 234 Historic Nature Trail, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.
